I does look Like Peru 8 Escudo KM #38.1. This would suggest a value of $3,000-4,000. I don't like shooting from the hip, this is a coin that deserves proper study. The first thing I would do if you brought it in with an appointment would be to test it to make sure it is authentic and actually made out of gold. Then attribution would make sense.
