Notice the word "COPY" stamped on the reverse. The 1973 Hobby Protection Act requires this on all reproductions made since then. There is a 2021 Literacy Act pending in Congress... call your representative now!

Knowing of no such variety, and seeing significant wear, I'd conclude it is damage or alteration.
