Well I can't quite agree with your description. It seems quite distorted. I cannot tell whether this is an actual coin that has been mangled or a reproduction of some kind. I'm confident it does not have a lot of value.

this is a 1999 U.S. penny that's the size of a nickel and is terribly warped and discolored. it's not stretched cause all the words and images are just fine and it's the same thickness all the way thru
