Congratulations! Your coin is worth about 100,000. I always tell people they only made a few steel cents this year and they get mad at me when I say theirs is counterfeit. So I won't dwell on the fact that the second "4" looks very fish and closely resembles coins where the date has been altered; and that it does not match the appearance of the fours in authentic 1944 cents. Can I retire with you now?

1944 no mint steel penny. Magnet DOES stick to this 2.91g coin.
