This could be the ugliest dime I've ever seen in my career. Yes, it has much damage. And there seems to be a lot of confusion between damaged coins and mint errors. Mint errors happen in the production of the coin, before they leave the mint. Sometimes they have value. Damage, which takes place after they leave the mint, does nothing but decrease the value of a coin.
