This should be a wartime silver nickel worth a dollar. It could also be a counterfeit "Henning" nickel worth more than that, perhaps $25. It would take special diagnostics to tell, I would have to inspect it. Francis Henning was a nutbag in New Jersey who made hundreds of thousands of fake nickels, why it's not entirely clear, many of them ended up in the river. My guess is it's just a worn silver nickel.
