Either the coin has been worn or damaged in circulation, or a weak die created it. I don't diagnose doubling not clearly visible, as it has little value, it's quite common. So you're safe to spend this cent.

So I'm wondering if this is an error, ive attached a picture of the front and back and also a close up of the Liberty. The Li and b seem to be not stamped correctly. Also if you look above the letters GOD I'm guessing machine doubling...well I really don't understand the difference to be honest with you. Anyway would love to learn from your expertise.
