It used to be coated with copper and 2.5 grams. Then it wore down to the underlying zinc.

This is a 1990 D penny. From the back of the coin it looks like the penny was stamped on silver. From the front there is a image but I can't figure out what it is. It weighs 2.44 and don't stick to a magnet
