It suffered environmental damage, may have been outside then cleaned. No apologies needed, it's never a waste of time to meet a new client or help out.
I submitted something earlier. Wasn't asking for a price. I know it's not a super valuable thing...just wanted confirmation on why it looked as it did. After I submitted it I read the above, um...monolog (?)and I withdraw my question. I've been sort of half heartedly collecting coins for a few years now, mostly errors.
