These look common and sending in for grading will part you with your hard earned money. You should read the docs at the top of my home page on error coins and value. Also the "Red Book".

I have several coin errors , however This is my obsession. I put it away then take it back out . I uploaded it on a few web forums but get conflicting opinions. I call this My 196a Washington Quarter? I would like to have some definitive so I know if I should have it sent in and appraised or authenticated I don't know if it's a damaged or an error. Or possibly a discovery? Plz Put me out of my misery LOL, Thank You , If possible I do have alot of other questionable coins. If I may forw
