To be honest I just took a course with the ANA on authentication and this coin looks to me like it is a contemporary counterfeit, they are making them in China, they have the right weight as a real US coin and are designed to fool counting machines. You could try reporting it to the police or the Secret Service, but unless they send somebody who understands coins they're not even going to understand. One thing you don't have to worry about is value, I can assure you it's not worth more than a quarter.
