Thanks for playing fair. I suspect this one just has damage or wear that wore the obverse down so much the inner copper shows through and the weight is off enough to get rejected by the machine. You try to get it certified but the odds are low it will get through that process without being rejected as simply damaged.
1776-1976 Drummer Boy quarter. My wife found this (along with a 2021 included in separate request per your policy of one item per request) because they were not accepted by a coin-to-cash machine. She says that they feel very different from a normal quarter as soon as you pick them up. She believes they are counterfeit, but I believe they are errors. The stamp does not look normal to me, even with the wear. The series number is just a single “blob.” There are also no reeded edges
