If your children can read, help them make out the word "replica" in large letters. That's often a tip off that you're not gonna retire on this one.

My children found this with a metal detector at a beach Southold, NY. No idea if it is real, it looks like it may be too well preserved to be real and has a small bit of what appears to be rust on the front.
