i'm trying to figure out what that mark by her nose is. If it's damage to the coin this is effectively scrap metal worth $15-$20. If it's on the plastic case and not the coin then the coin is probably worth about $25-$30. They made a lot of these and a lot were saved.

We hope you can estimate the value of our 1896 Morgan Silver Dollar. This was a gift given to us many years ago, kept in the USA Genuine U.S. Mint Coinage Box and plastic coin encasement. It looks like it's in excellent condition, but it's not perfect, I think there are small scratches on it. Hopefully you can see this clearly in the images I've attached.
