I originally thought this was intentionally damaged . The back of the coin has a different look regarding the edge and is visibly raised and wider than the average coin. The main reason I think this might be a error coin is that this quarter doesn't have the raised ridges on the outer ring. Also you can see the different types of material clearly defined .
