Most of the questions are about errors, which people grossly misunderstand. No errors here, just damage rendering it face value. I recommend you read our tutorial at the top center of hvcoins.com home page, "What it's worth." Your coin is what I call a "tapper," someone banged it on the side and rotated it, with something like a spoon; I'm told sailors did this a lot during WWII and see it often with mercury dimes. That's why it has a thicker rim and smaller diameter.

1970p error penny I believe it to be a foreign planchette error the other coin is for comparison it's very small for a penny and the rim is thick
