The variations you see are typical of different die varieties and strikings. As well, coins wear differently. Nothing here to retire on, you can spend them!

Hello I have to 1973 d pennies. One of them have a thicker rick and goes thinner around the penny. The red die one is thicker all the way around with no other size but thick. I also have a 1966 no mint mark penny which is also as thick as the 1973 d red die penny. They are obviously thicker than regular pennies. Do I have anyhing worth something.
