Every coin is unique when you study it close enough.... I have seen many coins, and quite a few have had this kind of bulbous, raised portion. While I can't be sure, my best guess is it was not in fact "made" that way, but suffered some kind of post-mint damage, most likely deformation from heat. It's cool and interesting, but my experience suggests whatever happened didn't add appreciable value to it. I have a cent for sale for $20 with a similar feature... but it's for sale because nobody has bought it yet!

I have this coin that I inherited that is unique than any other coin. No other coin looks like it. I don’t understand how a coin can have a bulb shape and maintain all the details of it’s design.
Can any of your experts explain how it could have been made?
