Silver is $26 per ounce right now. Depends on what you mean by "half a pound." Half a troy pound is six troy ounces, so with the dollar as a seventh, you are at $182. A dealer will pay you a dollar or two less than the spot price of silver, or charge you a dollar two or more, if reputable and there is no numismatic value to the bar (usually the case).
