Okay first of all there is no way this is a "penny." It may be silver in color but how do you know the composition? At best it's an altered silver dollar worth scrap price, $15. My guess is it's a poor copy in a base metal worth next to nothing.

1886 silver penny with cc mint mark and no UNI on reverse and directly opposite no *E.The Carson City mint was closed from mid 1885 to Fall of 1889.Is this a practice run,that was not meant for circulation.?Kind Regards Ken ps The coin is definitely silver and not a cast.
